Job description

•	Responsible for the overall design and manufacturing operations for furniture products 
•	To work with internal and external resources, ensuring successful furniture design and development stage 
•	Provide technical advice & guidance to production personnel to resolve any production technical difficulty.
•	Ensure to generate design drawings, engineering BOM, product catalogue and other design related work.
•	Responsible for meeting production efficiency, delivery and volume targets.
•	Manpower & capacity planning and production performance.
•	Development of productivity, safety, quality, cost improvement strategies.
•	Develop, motivate, coach and guide team members to upgrade their skills and competencies.
•	Maintain housekeeping and safety requirements at the factory area

                    

Requirements

•	Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Furniture design, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical)or equivalent)
•	Required skill(s): MS Office, Solidwork, Auto Cad, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, 3D software (Sketchup, 3D Max, etc)
•	At least 5 years of relevant working experience in furniture (wood) industry or interior renovation for Manager position or 2 years’ experience for Engineer position
•	Good leadership quality, dynamic, diplomatic & result oriented.
•	Good initiatives and commitment to excellence.
•	Able to take up and perform challenging tasks.
•	Must be computer literate and with proficiency in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
•	Applicants with Mandarin speaking are added advantage.
