Job description

- Start-up molding machines, process molded product to meet rigid quality standards.

- Recommend improvements for equipment and processes to enhance quality and productivity.

- Documentation the ability to fill out process sheet, and to perform safety checks on molds and machines.

- Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.

- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.

- Replaces electrical parts and equipment.

- Observes and maintain mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.

- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.

- Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.

- Follow all safety rule and procedures and observes the operations to insure a safe environment.

- Implement the preventive maintenance system.

- Provide technical assistance to production department and work with production personnel to maintain and improve quality.

- Actively participate on plant Safety Committee.

- Supervising maintenance personnel.
                    

Requirements

- Requires a High School Education & Diploma.

- experience as a Maintenance Mechanic.

- Must able to analyze equipment problem by sound, visual observations, and improper operating characteristics.

- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical properties.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.

- Good communication skills and able to write in English & Bahasa Melayu.

- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

- Interpersonal skill is needed to develop working relationship with maintenance and operations personnel.

- Must be available to handle on-call emergency services on an as- needed basis.

- Basic computer knowledge.
