Budget Development

- Prepare preliminary elemental estimates based on design information available.
- Prepare cost estimates and provide cost planning advice throughout design development.
- Provide comparative analysis on alternative designs, materials and systems.

Tender

- Prepare tender documentations for tendering contractors.
- Attend consultant invitations and contract negotiations.

Project Implementation and Cost Control

- Implement cost control measures across all construction stages
Coordinate with QS consultants to follow through the progress of contracts.
- Conduct the administration of payment process, evaluation of variation orders, claims and final accounts.
- Generate financial report on progress payment valuations, forecast of expenditure and final cost and agreement of the project.

Handover

- Handover procedures and settlement of final accounts.
                    

Requirements

- Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline. - - Relevant professional qualification would be an advantage.
- 5 - 7 years' relevant hands-on experience in handling QS work on site. Prior working experience with developers and/ or consultancy firms would be an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Sound contractual knowledge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English. Able to speak in Mandarin would be an advantage.
