Job description

1. Responsible for sourcing, cost negotiations, credit term and buying of raw materials, services, consumable items, spare parts, sub contractors/installer/transporter. Experience in handling purchase from oversea supplier is an added advantage.
2. Familiar with DagangNet application for Form D, COO is an added advantage.
3. Issue Purchase Order to suppliers/subcontractors/transporter and follow up with them to ensure prompt delivery of goods/services.
4. Ensure items are delivered on time and to the place required.
5. Ensure that the items are purchased from the source required.
6. Plan, source and develop new potentials suppliers/vendors for economical procurement.
7. Maintain a full record and coordinate with various suppliers/subcontractors and compare costs for purchasing requisition within the organization
8. Submission of cost and prices reports to Management.
9. Responsible for material planning, logistic and inventory control.
10. Responsible for the revision and audit of procedures related.
11. Any other duties as deemed fit by the Management.
                    

Requirements

1. Possess Diploma/ Advanced Diploma/ Degree in Business Administration, Operation Management, Materials Planning, Engineering or its equivalent.
2. 3-5 years of relevant working experience in purchasing/supply chain.
3. Meticulous, resourceful and possess effective problem solving skills.
4. Excellent knowledge in Office application software
5. Able to converse in both Bahasa Malaysia and English Language.
6. Matured individual and possess excellent communications skills.
7. Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
8. Willingness to travel and work in Seksyen U5, Shah Alam Selangor
9. Possess driving licence .
