Job description
- Develop and qualify new prospect opportunities, working closely with sales management to develop strategies, educate prospects, build relationships, qualify opportunities, and generate a healthy sales pipeline.
- Generate new sales opportunities by prospecting and following up on leads generated through marketing events, seminars, and other demand creation activities.
- Conduct cold calls to potential customers and follow up on quoted enquiries until closure and payment.
- Showcase the value of our offerings through various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, Lazada, Shopee, and other eCommerce or social media platforms.
- Create and implement an effective prospecting strategy, including the development of email and call scripts.
- Manage leads, quotations, sales funnel, forecast, and customer information into the company database.
- Conduct research on target accounts, identify key decision-makers, generate interest, and create potential opportunities.
- Provide comprehensive information to the sales management team to facilitate well-prepared and qualified demonstrations.
- Attend meetings and demos alongside the technical sales team to acquire the necessary skills for future sales roles.
- Plan sales call activities and exceed sales targets.
- Stay updated on sales techniques, market trends, product knowledge, and customer preferences to identify valuable business opportunities.
- Actively follow up with vendors on order processing until goods are received.
- Liaise with logistics companies to ensure timely delivery of ordered products.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Science/ IT/ Marketing/ Business Administration or related fields. Applicants without this educational qualification may still apply but must have at least 1 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Sales Administration, Telemarketing and Inside Sales will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Fast response to customer inquiries and ability to work well with internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of other languages, such as Mandarin, will be an advantage.
- Based in Penang.
