Job description

Interns in solar engineering play a crucial role in gaining practical experience, learning about solar energy systems, and contributing to the successful implementation of solar projects.

i. Site Assessment:
Participate in site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar installations, considering factors like sunlight exposure, shading, and available space.

ii. Energy Production Analysis:
Assist in analyzing solar potential and estimating energy production using simulation tools and models.

iii. System Design:
Contribute to the design of solar PV systems, including selecting appropriate components, sizing arrays, and optimizing system layouts.

iv. Technical Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports related to solar projects.

v. Installation Support:
Gain hands-on experience by supporting the installation and commissioning of solar PV systems, working closely with installation teams.

vi. Monitoring and Maintenance:
Assist in the implementation of monitoring systems and contribute to maintenance plans to ensure the optimal performance of solar installations.

vii. Regulatory Compliance:
Learn about and contribute to compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards applicable to solar energy projects.
