Job description

- Review and maintain existing purchasing channels and suppliers.
- Solid understanding of product demands, industry and markets to ensure the accuracy of quotations from suppliers, have the knowledge on business policies (payment clause, quantity, quality standard, certification and delivery date) and supplier management.
- Negotiate with suppliers and reduces costs regularly.
- Gather information on import/export rules and research on new purchasing channels.
- Conduct research on suppliers, markets and provide feedback to supervisor about product sampling and selections.
- Provide data analytics on supplier products;
- Prepare product bidding materials (purchasing form, quotation form etc.).
- Other tasks assigned by supervisors.
                    

Requirements

- Candidate must possess at least Diploma & above in any fields.
- At least 1 years or above experience in Purchasing, preferably FMCG, food & beverage industry.
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills. Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Proven track record to develop purchasing and strong customer relationship management.
- Strong data analytic skill will be considered favorably. Passionate in purchasing and a quick learner.
- Strong execution, communication and coordination skills.
- Possess own transport.
