Job description
- Preparation of full set accounts including minority management report with analysis report, required schedules, cash flow planning, bank reconciliation and inter-company reconciliation.
- Responsible for handling tax compliance work such as tax estimation, tax filing, tax queries, tax audit and tax payment.
- Responsible for preparation of audited financial statements audit schedules and attend auditors’ queries.
- Identify report and resolve accounting related operating issues, discrepancies and abnormal transactions.
- Attend information request from bankers, customers, vendors and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor payment to creditors and debtors collection report which include analyzing ageing report, enforcing credit control, prompting necessary actions to collect or settle the long debts.
- To lead junior accounting staff and assist in problem solving.
- Ensure all accounting records and documents are properly filed and maintained.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies.
- Participate in accounting systems and processes
- Provide administrative support and ad-hoc tasks assigned.
Requirements
- Candidate who possesses at least LCCI, Diploma in Finance/Accountancy, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
- 2 to 5 years of solid working experience in similar accounting or financial role, preferably in manufacturing sector.
- Computer literate with good understanding and command of Microsoft Office and Accounting software.
- Good communication skill (oral and written). Well verse in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Ability to speak in Mandarin is highly preferred to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
- Preferably to start immediately or within short notice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure, proactively and meeting given time frame.
