Job description
We are looking for a meticulous and service-driven Senior Payroll Executive to join our expanding HR services team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in payroll operations and statutory compliance, especially in a client-servicing or outsourcing environment.
As a Senior Payroll Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for a portfolio of clients across various industries.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for assigned clients, including data entry, calculation, and finalization.
- Ensure payroll compliance with Malaysian statutory bodies (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and submission of monthly and annual forms (e.g., EA, Form E).
- Conduct payroll variance checks, reconciliations, and review reports for accuracy.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients on all payroll-related matters.
- Handle and respond to client queries with professionalism and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate and updated payroll records in accordance with audit and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams (Support, Implementation, HRIS) to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of payroll data at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a payroll outsourcing or shared services environment.
- Solid understanding of Malaysian payroll regulations and statutory compliance.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with HRMS or payroll systems is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple client portfolios.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and deliver results.
