Job description
- Source and negotiate pricing for materials and services.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Manage and follow up on progress claims with vendors and contractors.
- Coordinate closely with project teams to monitor and track the status of small job claims.
- Act as the point of contact for inquiries related to project claims and procurement status.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation in system and make sure up to date.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- Skill(s): Microsoft Office, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, OUTLOOK
- language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Organized, proactive and able to follow up closely with multiple parties.
- Experience in procurement, especially within project-based or construction-related environments, is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or SQL Accounting Software
- At least 3-5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
