Job description
- Inspect and diagnose faults in LV/MV/HV induction motors, pumps, and generators, including winding issues, insulation breakdown, and mechanical failures.
- Plan and supervise motor rewinding and repair work to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct electrical testing such as insulation resistance, winding resistance, surge, and high-voltage testing (HV test).
- Analyze motor performance data and prepare technical reports with recommendations for repair or replacement.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and rotating equipment.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety, quality, and company standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve motor reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with LV, MV, and HV induction motor systems is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems (LV/MV/HV), motor control circuits, and protection systems.
- Hands-on experience with motor testing equipment and fault diagnosis tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and support field or workshop operations when required.
