1. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Routine Maintenance: Performs periodic servicing such as changing engine oil, filters, spark plugs, and checking vehicle fluids.
Fault Diagnosis: Uses modern diagnostic equipment to detect problems with a vehicle's mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
System Repair: Repairs or replaces defective components in the engine, transmission, brake, steering, suspension, and air conditioning systems.
Safety Inspection: Conducts test drives and comprehensive inspections to ensure vehicles are safe to use before being handed over to customers.
Customer Consultation: Provides technical advice on proper maintenance and estimated repair costs.
                    

Requirements

Have skills in operating computerized diagnostic equipment and OBD-II scan tools.
Able to read and understand technical manuals and vehicle electrical circuit diagrams.
Physically fit and able to perform heavy physical work.
No vision problems or color blindness for electrical wiring purposes.
Have basic knowledge of electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid systems.
Able to communicate well to explain faults to customers.
Willing to undergo continuous technical training to update knowledge of the latest automotive technology.
Comply with workshop safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Have high accuracy in inspecting vehicle safety components.
