Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment for restaurants, hotels, cafeterias, and food service establishments. The successful candidate will provide technical support and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
: Install, inspect, and commission commercial kitchen equipment at customer sites.
: Diagnose and repair faults in kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ice machines, and other food service equipment.
: Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
: Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and gas-related issues.
: Maintain accurate service reports and records of work performed.
: Respond promptly to service calls and customer inquiries.
: Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
: Advise customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
: Order and replace spare parts when required.
: Work closely with the service team and management to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Requirements
: Certificate, Diploma, or vocational training in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.
: Experience in commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, or food service equipment servicing is an advantage.
: Knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
: Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
: Valid driving license and willingness to travel for onsite service work.
: Good communication and problem-solving skills.
: Able to work independently and as part of a team.
: Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications are encouraged to apply.
