Job description
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock receiving, transfers, adjustments, and returns.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and annual stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, stock variances, and inventoryrelated issues promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely stock replenishment to prevent stock shortages or overstock situations.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports, including stock movement, stock ageing, and slow-moving inventory.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, proper stock storage practices, and stock rotation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
